Haroldyne M. Lucas, 90, Muscatine, passed away on December 24, 2019, at her home. Graveside services will be held on Monday, January 6, 2020, at 1:00 P.M. at Greenwood Cemetery. Haroldyne Mae Troxel was born on March 27, 1929, in Muscatine, Iowa, the daughter of Harold and Elizabeth (Honts) Troxel. She was a Muscatine High School graduate and was united in marriage to Clyde Lucas on January 29, 1948, in Muscatine. She was a member of the Illinois City United Methodist Church. Haroldyne operated her own sewing business out of her home tailoring and mending many things over the years. When not busy with the sewing, she could also be found assisting her husband, Clyde with his plumbing business – Lucas Quality Plumbing.
Haroldyne will be deeply missed by her children, Barry (Jeanne) Lucas of Boone, Beth (Virgil) Irwin of Illinois City and Glen Lucas of Muscatine; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Haroldyne was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers, Bud and Daryl Troxel and one sister, Elaine Ferrell.
