A new look for the Voice of Muscatine

As I walk up the steps inside the radio farmhouse every day, I often pause to admire the awards recognizing the work of news hounds during the seven decades it’s been in operation.

In the latest print edition, you are holding and reading the newest edition of the Voice of Muscatine, a newspaper that represents the evolution of journalism … both broadcast and print … coming from Muscatine.

We’ve branded our news reporting The Voice of Muscatine for over 20 years and our newspaper edition has been around for four.

Although I’ve been on the team for just a short while, I am extremely proud to be a part of such a rich news and information tradition in Muscatine.

It’s important for you to get great stories, news and information from Muscatine, Muscatine County and the surrounding area. What you’re holding is a new Voice of Muscatine newspaper we believe gives you an even more engaging way to get your local stories. We’ve assembled a great team of writers … storytellers … I’m sure you’ll continue to enjoy reading.

We’re always on the lookout for great news and stories, so please drop us a line when you have a great idea for us to pursue.

Oh, and no less exciting is what we’re doing with the radio stations here at the Radio Farmhouse.

You’ll see elsewhere in the paper, a story about the ways we are refreshing our radio stations.

From here on out we’re hoping you hear this really great buzz on your FM dial (93.1 the Buzz – Everything That Rocks) as well as the continued great things like Moving Forward, Birthdays & Anniversaries, and Amy in the AM on KWPC AM860.

Plus, our stories are all online at voiceofmuscatine.com

We’re keeping the buzz of news, information, stories and music for Muscatine going strong.

Please, let us know what you think!
