West Liberty Youth Dream Catchers 15th Annual Taco Dinner

The West Liberty Youth Dream Catchers, a local academic mentoring program, will host their 15th Annual Taco Dinner Night at the West Liberty Community Center. This fundraising event is scheduled for November 22, 2019. A delicious meal including tacos, beans, rice, chips, salsa and entertainment by West Liberty Folklorico Dancers, Simply Stunning Décor DJ’s, and Musical Chairs Contest will make for a fun evening. Silent Auction Items and a raffle for a 256 GB iPad or 55” LG TV will be available, too.
The West Liberty Youth Dream Catchers is an organization that serves students in grades 3-12 in West Liberty, Iowa. Our mission is to empower children ages 8-18 through mentoring and financial aid to complete secondary education and enroll in and graduate from institutions of postsecondary education. We serve students from low-income families who aspire to be the first generation to attend college. The program offers weekly mentoring and scholarships to attain this goal.
Started in 2004, our first third graders GRADUATED college this year! We are proud of all our students!
