Members of the community who contact the front offices of the Voice of Muscatine, KWPC AM 860, FM 95.1 and Vintage Sound 93.1 have been greeted by a new friendly and helpful face since the end of July.
Marissa Suri joined the JAM Media Solutions team assisting in several roles. Marissa can be found answering phones and emails while performing reception and office management roles. She also offers support around the radio farmhouse in the roles of administrative assistant and assisting with radio traffic and billing.
“No day is the same,” Marissa says, “Every day there are unexpected challenges.”
Marissa is the first point of contact for many who have questions concerning the radio stations and the Voice of Muscatine. In addition to assisting area residents with placing classified ads in the Voice of Muscatine, she often assists commercial customers as well. “It has been really interesting learning the whole process for commercial sales,” she says.
“I have really loved getting to know the community. I am loving being part of this team, I enjoy the feeling of being part of a team that cares about the community around us, and wants to make a difference,” she says.
Marissa is available to assist members of the community Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The radio farmhouse is located at 3218 Mulberry Ave in Muscatine.
