Making bracelets for a good cause

Adult day care participant Rhonda Larson and team have made bracelets for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Mammograms are the most effective screening tools for early detection of breast cancer, able to detect at an early stage, often years before tumor is felt by you or your doctor.

Muscatine Resident Rhonda Larson is an advocate for breast cancer awareness and encourages women ages 40-45 or older who are at average risk for breast cancer to get their annual mammogram.

Rhonda and her team have been working hard to make over 50 bracelets to promote awareness. For the month of October, Muscatine Radiology will have these bracelets available for anyone who has a mammogram.
