Bring your creativity and join us on Thursday, December 1 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Louisa County Complex for an evening of upcycling. We will reduce our household waste by turning everyday objects into holiday gifts!

You can come for ten minutes or stay for the entire time. Materials and one or two project ideas will be available for upcyclers of all ages. We encourage you to bring your own upcycling idea to share. Together we can put together a collection of year-round upcycling ideas for everyone to take home.

Registration is not required; however, you may call the office at 319-523-8381, email Lana at [email protected], or visit the Louisa County Conservation Facebook Event Page to let us know you’re coming. The Louisa County Complex is located north of Wapello at 12635 County Road G56.

This program is sponsored by the Louisa Regional Solid Waste Agency. Together we work to educate Louisa County Residents about solid waste and find innovative ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle items as a way of keeping them out of landfills.
