(Muscatine, IA) The Salvation Army held the Christmas Kettle Campaign kick-off on Thursday, November 19th at 5 pm at Kent Corporation. “This is our l23rdyear of serving Muscatine and surrounding areas — the familiar sound of bells will be ringing around town,” said Lt. Cristian Lopez, Corps Officer for The Salvation Army.

The money raised from the Christmas campaign supports every program The Salvation Army offers the residents of Muscatine. “We wish we could tell you that the need in this community has dropped, but that is not the case. Last year, we helped over 13,000 people with food and toys,” added Lopez.
