Muscatine Charities Inc. has been enhancing the lives of those in need in Muscatine for years. This year on June 16th they will continue their mission by hosting their annual golf fundraiser at Geneva Golf and Country Club. Co-Chairmen John Krieger, and Josh Boyer have worked hard to make it a positive event for all involved. Krieger said, “we’ve worked really hard to get sponsorships for the event so that the entry fee is 100% tax deductible to the player.” The entry fee is $150.00 per player and that includes 18 holes of golf, cart, lunch, dinner and a tee gift. “We want to make sure this is a fun event for everyone,” Said Boyer. The event will also have a silent auction and pin prizes. “We are also hoping have a Cy-Hawk challenge. We are going to ask all the ISU fans and Iowa fans playing to pool their money together and see which school can raise the most money.” After the golf event a dinner with raffle drawings will take place, as well as a live auction. Checks will also be presented to organizations who are receiving awards from MCI.
