MCC’s Learning Tree Preschool will hold an open house and literacy night for prospective students and their families on Thursday, August 11 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Students will have the opportunity to see the preschool classrooms, playground, and facilities and participate in hands-on activities involving the books The Very Hungry Caterpillar, The Cat in the Hat, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, and If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. There will also be raffle basket giveaways, and refreshments will be served.

Parents can meet with teachers to learn about Learning Tree programs and curriculum. Learning Tree offers programs for children from 24 months to five years old. The registration fee will be waived for students enrolling for the fall at the open house. Learning Tree offers programs at hourly, half-day, daily, and weekly rates, with special rates available for MCC students.
