The Greater Muscatine Chamber of Commerce and Industry hosted its annual recognition night and meeting on Tuesday, March 28 at Geneva Golf & Country Club in Muscatine. The evening featured local businesses being recognized for years of service along with individual honors for those going above and beyond.
Three awards were presented, including Volunteer of the Year, which was presented to Aaron & Susan Eversmeyer, owners of River Rehabilitation Physical Therapy, for their work with the Muskie Boosters and other organizations. Lindsey Phillips, Director of Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Muscatine County, was awarded the Young Professionals Award and Nick Gow was recognized as Chamber Ambassador of the Year with an impressive 440 points.
GMCCI President & CEO Greg Jenkins took time to acknowledge and thank outgoing Chair President Jim Hayes CEO of Unity Point Health Trinity Muscatine and welcome Shawn Schrader, who will assume the role as chair moving forward.
