2018 Muscatine Diabetes Walk

Join us to support, empower and encourage Muscatine County area residents living with diabetes to live long, healthy, happy, and productive. Together we can make a difference!
$10.00 – 18 years and older
FREE – 17 years and younger
5:30 PM – Check-in Begins
5:30 PM – Event Activities Begin
6:00 PM – Program and National Anthem
6:30 PM – Walk Starts
The 1.5 mile paved walk path invites individuals of all ages to explore and enjoy nature. Pets are welcome to attend with their owner and must remain on a leash.
There is limited parking at the Discovery Park. Please utilize MuscaBus shuttle service:
5:30 PM – MuscaBus shuttle starts at MHS Cedar St. parking lot (2705 Cedar St.)
7:45 PM – Last shuttle run from Discovery Park to MHS parking lot
We ask that you respect area businesses during this event and not park in their parking lots if open. Thank you!
Our mission is to offer more diabetes education programs, outreach activities and support groups for the Muscatine County area residents living with all types of diabetes. For continued growth, a percentage of funding will stay in our community. We are dedicating 95% of the fundraising to stay in Muscatine County, and 5% to go towards research.
