Employees at Back in Line Chiropractic and Destination: Restoration within Back in Line Chiropractic, along with Dr. Clove Dental Clinic, have been collecting toiletries and nonperishable items for the MCSA Domestic Violence Shelter for a month.

Items collected will be provided for residents who arrive at the shelter without daily essentials, Shelter Coordinator Judy Yates explains. “We are so grateful for everyone who took the time to donate. We are so blessed by the support of the community.”

Items collected include toothbrushes, toothpaste, towels, bedding, paper products, toiletries, and more.

Yates states, “Dr. Clove’s dental office donated several items, including several large boxes of toothbrushes and toothpaste, as did Taco Tom [Hendricks], who donated towels and washcloths, and many more whose names I don’t know. I really want to thank the community for all of their support! They have really done a great job!”

Over four large totes were donated to the shelter throughout the month, Yates explains.

The 15th Annual Benefit & Raffle for the MCSA Domestic Violence Shelter “New Beginnings”  fundraiser will be held on Saturday, April 8 from 6:00 to 9:30 p.m. at the Geneva Golf and Country Club. For more information on the event, contact MCSA at (563) 264-3278.
