The women who work in the office space of Back in Line Chiropractic offer more than just a typical alignment. In addition to the chiropractic services offered by Dr. of Chiropractic Sarah Loos, therapeutic message is offered at Destination: Restoration within Back In Line Chiropractic.
The group of health and wellness professionals recently began looking for a way to impact the health of the community in addition to the health of their patients.
Message therapist Jenny Furnas explains, “We are encouraging our patients and members of the community to donate items to the domestic violence shelter now through the end of March.”
The health and wellness office has established a drop off location for nonperishable items to be donated. Items the shelter needs include deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, laundry soap, paper towels, bath towels, feminine hygiene products, and large garbage bags.
Furnas continues, “The list of what is needed is long. It is not narrowed down to what I said. Anything that you need in your own home is something that can be donated.”
“We are providing a convenient place to drop off items, but we are not accepting cash donations,” Furnas says. “We encourage anyone who wants to donate financially to contact MCSA about how to do so.”
Message therapists Jenny Furnas, Buffy Kemper, Peyton Noll and Sue Sours, along with Loos, are collecting items through March 31 at their office located in the Cedar Plaza at 2016 Cedar Plaza Drive in Muscatine.
