Muscatine Police have made an arrest in the case of the headstones that were pushed over at Greenwood Cemetery during the night of April 3. According to police, around 50 headstones were damaged with an estimated at $3,000 in repair costs

A 17 year old female was reportedly arrested on Monday, morning, and charged with criminal mischief in the 2nd degree, a class D felony, which is punishable by up to five years in prison.

A criminal investigation is still being conducted by the Muscatine Police Department Criminal Investigations Division and the Muscatine Police Department Street Crimes Unit. Anyone with information can contact Lt. Tim Hull at 563-263-9922 ext. 608.
