Muscatine’s annual Carnival After Prom Extravaganza, or C.A.P.E., will take place this year on Saturday April 30 at the Muscatine High School. The event is a fun and safe way for juniors and seniors to end prom night, and the community comes out in full force to support this event. Each year, TV’s, dorm refrigerators, tablets, office furniture, recliners, and many other items are awarded as raffle prizes. Since the inception of the program, Krieger Motor Company has given away a car to one lucky student. All of the prizes are awarded at the end of the evening and the students must be present to win.
This year food has been donated by Subway, Avenue Subs, Jimmy Johns, Sal Vitale’s, Sprouse Distributing and Hy-Vee.
Prizes have been donated by Slumberland, Family Eye, West Side Store, HON, Team Staffing and many more.
Becky Wichers is in charge of volunteers this year. The committee is still in need of adults to help facilitate the event. If you would like to volunteer, please reach out to Becky at [email protected]
